Why Athletes Want to Say "Thanks, Coach!"
Hey! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my coach, Drew Carver. He helped me learn to love running, and the burn in my legs and lungs after a hard workout.
Drew is the head coach for MacEwan University, and MacTrack (MacEwan's junior team). He works countless hours to create unique and beneficial workouts that everyone improves from. During races, when everyone is stressing, he calms nerves and helps set an individual game plan for each and every athlete. If you're the type of person who needs a pep talk, he ensures he delivers one, if you need to be left alone, he gives you your space. When Drew believes in you, you believe in yourself. Not only is he a great coach, he is there for you when you need to talk, or are just having a rough day. Drew can always make it a great day for a run.
